Midjourney Announces New Camera That Lets You Make Any Look You Want

#artificialintelligence

There is a brand new camera that's hitting the market today; and with the right marketing, it could upset the market that Google and Apple have been trying to disrupt for a long time now. Midjourney AI has today announced a brand new camera that can be brought with you anywhere to create AI visuals and apply them to whatever you see in front of you. The company claims that it brings the power of their AI to a retro-inspired camera body so that creators can make AI Visuals to their heart's content. Effectively, they're eliminating post-production processes that Adobe brings photographers by putting it all right into the single device. This is a sponsored blog post presented by Midjourney.

This is what MidJourney AI thinks the coronation of King Charles will look like on May 6

Daily Mail - Science & tech

The upcoming coronation of King Charles III is the most hotly anticipated event of this year - so MailOnline asked an AI bot to provide a sneak peak... and the results of a mix of suprising and scary. These strange visuals give a glimpse of how scenes may play out at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6 and how the nation might rally to watch the historic event unfold - Britain's first coronation since 1953. They stare through the gloom and grey hair, gawping at pub screens showing the King being ferried to Westminster Abbey in a golden articulated lorry. The coronation is the event of the year. The world is watching, though perhaps wondering, what on earth is going on?

I love and hate Midjourney AI

#artificialintelligence

I wanted to share my concern with you. You all have heard about midjourney, which is extremly hyped. The discord server is insanely crowed and the results of people using the AI are becoming crazier every day. In case you dont know, midjourney is a convolutional neural network, a neural network that works especially well for image generation. And these networks are learning and evolving through many iterations of creating images.

I Asked an AI to Dream the Solar System as Food

As soon as I saw these new artificial intelligence image creation tools, like DALL-E, I wanted to see how well they'd work for generating space and astronomy images. I'm still on the waiting list for DALL-E 2, so I don't have any feedback to give there, but I signed up for Midjourney AI, played around with the free account, and then signed up for a full paid account, so I could test out its capabilities. How well does it work? I'm still learning to craft prompts to get the best results, but the biggest issue is that they're unscientific. If I need a picture of the Space Launch System, it needs to be the actual Space Launch System and not some kind of art deco version of a rocket that looks like it was designed in the 1950s.
